I would like to make life easier for people suggesting links, and would just want to offer the URL and E-Mail fields for entry.

Next, during approval, I would love to have the Fetch URL button, as known from the manual entry page.

maybe the current form fields can be left in, and the Fetch URL on the Approve page can just fill in the blanks.

That way, a site owner can either write his text while suggesting his site, or trust that the directory's description will be same as for other search engines.

I alos think placing the "fetch url" function into the "add url" script would be useful.

One thing it can do is point out to website owners all the information they are missing on their pages!

I have over 1,400 URL's listed so far and a great number have:

No title
No description

Sometimes ADP has a bit of trouble getting this information from pages that generate titles dynamically but if ADP has trouble with it, then other search engines will too.
